hero –noun, plural -roes; for 5 also -ros.
1. a woman of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities.
2. a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal.

If you had asked me earlier today who Margaret Moth was, I would have had no idea. I had never heard of her.

If you were to ask me now who Margaret Moth is, I would have to tell you that she is my hero in the most sincere form of the word.
