Portable Altars
Workshop taught at a gift shop in North Central Florida.
Just to give you an idea of what is involved in my creative process, here are a series of 3 stages in the development of one of my designs - a Guan Yin inspired by the Of Hands and Fire Chinese ceramics exhibit previously at the Appleton Museum in Ocala, Florida. This design was available for purchase in the Appleton Museum's Gift Gallery as a notecard.
Stage 1 - Initial Scan: A copy of the design after it has been inked. I create the design with a mechanical pencil on graph paper, no tools, and then ink in black. This is what you would see when it first scans into the computer.

Stage 2 - Cleanup: A copy of the design after it has been converted to grayscale to remove all background grids and flatten the image into black & white.

This design will also be offered in future as an 8.5" x 11" Mini Gallery Print through this website and on several different products online through Cafe Press.
